Joseph William Lanzen
Born in Mansfield, Ohio on Aug. 20, 1914
Departed on Jan. 29, 2005 and resided in Pleasant Ridge, MI.
Resident of Pleasant Ridge for 52 years.
Joe was a graduate of Mansfield High School - 1930; He also had studies in aviation engineering USMC.
Proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Officer from 1931 to 1937 and 1942 to 1945
He was the founder and CEO of Lanzen Fabricating, Inc., Roseville, MI - he retired after 45 years and his son Terry now continues as the company President.
Member of Plum Hollow Golf Club since 1959, the Huron Hunting & Fishing Club and the Michigan Seniors Golf Association.
Husband of Dorothy for 63 years.
Father of Carroll Thomson (John), Sherry Arnold (David), Laurie Harris (Dan) and Terry Lanzen (Cindy). Also survived by 10 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Brother of Helen Hazlett and Lee Lanzen
